New Projects...

I can't believe I haven't posted anything since 2013!  That doesn't seem possible and proves that time really does fly.  I can't say I've done much paper crafting, but I've been busy crafting and repurposing all sorts of other things.  I find my Cricut and Silhouette sure come in handy for this.  I still love paper crafting and will find time to squeeze it in...eventually.  :)

For now I wanted to share some of the things I've been working on.  Some of the items are for myself and some of them I have listed in my Etsy shop which can be found HERE .  I'm also working on a new Facebook page called... Been There Salvaged That.  I would love to have you like my page.  You can view it HERE .  It's a page I'm doing for fun...where I hope to share projects and ideas as well as some of the items listed in my Etsy shop.

For now here is a glimpse of a few of my projects...

I made this chalkboard with hooks for Kara.  She's hanging it in her bathroom to hang her necklaces and such on.  I love the items I repurposed as hooks.  Makes it one of a kind. :)  The chalkboard is just the right size to leave a daily reminder or note.
I have enough boards to make two more of these.  The challenge is finding cute hooks or items that can be used as hooks.  Once I do I will make them and list them in my Etsy shop.

My cast iron paper towel holder.
Oh, how I wish I had before pictures of this.  It was black and yellow with a multicolored ceramic rooster on the top.  Cute in it's day, but it was time for a redo.
I love how it turned out!  I painted it and sanded some of the black back through.  Then I replaced the old rooster with this pretty medallion/knob combo.
It's one of my favorite redo's!

I painted this cute little glass bottle turned vase for my kitchen window sill.  All it needs now is some spring blooms.

Here are a few items you can find in my Etsy shop...

A vintage metal bin turned Kcup holder

A cabinet door turned magnetic memo board/recipe holder.

Another cabinet door makeover with a shabby chic metal cross.

Thanks so much for looking!
