Today I'm sharing something near and dear to my heart. If you follow me on FB you may remember my SIL Chaney...she has contributed to my page from time to time and is my partner in crime when it comes to junking. :) I'm sad to have to report that she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. She turned 34 today and is in the midst of raising her young family. Fortunately...she is grounded in her faith and has an Amazing team of support.
The community is hosting a silent auction and soup supper to help with all the upcoming expenses. This super awesome fire pit/grill/hot dog roaster was designed and manufactured by my sweet son, Brent. He wanted to make something to donate and help his Aunt Chaney.
He created it with salvaged goods...Yep, he is my son! ;) He used some old tire rims and horseshoes. The little rod across the top is where you thread your hot dogs for roasting or there's a nice little grate for burgers and steaks. Makes a great little fire pit for a chilly night, too.
I am super proud of his heart and his ability to think outside the box and create.
Please keep Chaney in your thoughts and prayers. She's a Proverbs Strong woman and has handled this journey remarkably well. Such a testament to God's grace and the power of prayer.
