Spring & Easter Decor

If you're not following along on facebook...you're missing out!   With keeping up with my Etsy shop and fb page I've missed posting so many things here on the blog.  If you like vintage treasures, repurposed goodies and handcrafted items be sure to follow on facebook - Been There Salvaged That

I'm going to try to post some of my favorites that I've missed sharing here so I hope to make several posts back to back.

Nothing says spring like a mamma bird watching over her nest.  The old sifter pan makes the perfect backdrop.  Welcome spring is simple scrabble like tiles with magnets glued to the back.

Neutral colored Easter decor.  Flowers are made from a Silhouette file.

Love old silver scalloped edge trays.  They make cute memo boards!

This cute memo board is perfect for spring and can be found HERE

Also in my Etsy shop - HERE

Thank you for stopping by...see you again, soon! :)

Decorating for Fall...Autumn...Indian Summer...The Best Time of the Year or Whatever You Call it! :)

As you can probably tell by my title...I'm pretty excited about this time of year!  I absolutely LOVE fall!  Being the "nester" and homebody that I am...I've been busy getting my little nest ready for cooler days...cozy moments curled up with a hot cup of coffee and a good book...something good baking in the oven...a cool breeze from the open window.  Oh, I could go on and on...  I love the simple comforts of home that this time of year brings!

If you like the rustic barn door backdrop... be sure to visit my Etsy and order yours today!

I hope you've been inspired to get your nest ready for the cozy season! :)  To see more projects and ideas be sure to follow me on FB...

Laundry Today or Naked Tomorrow Sign

I just finished making this sign for a customer.  It's 4' long...so kind of hard to get a good picture.  It's lightly distressed giving it just a hint of shabby.  :)

Faux Windows

Here's a couple of faux windows I just completed.  The fall one is listed in my Etsy shop.  I love the addition of burlap to the love frame.  It really helps the words to standout.

For the "glass" I used Better Than Acrylic.  You can read more about the original BTA HERE.  For my faux glass windows... I used a heavier grade than the original that I use when cutting it on a die cutting machine.  I am contemplating offering the heavier grade BTA for your window and frame needs.  You can use the original, but I've found if the frame is on the larger side, the original flexes a bit too much.  The heavier is more solid like glass.  I love that it is So Crystal Clear, it won't crack or break and it's so easy to work with!  It does Wonderful with vinyl which makes me Happy! :)

If this is a product you might be interested in... please leave me a comment and let me know. :)
