Happy Monday and a Quick Update

Hey everyone, hope you have a Great Monday! I've received serveral emails and pm's asking about the final video in this series. I hope to film it this afternoon and get it uploaded for you by tonight. Gotta make the doughnuts this morning (Lorrie, that's for you, LOL). I had kids home all weekend so there was no use in trying to do a video. :) Thanks for your patience! It will be posted soon. Have a Great day!

Let's Make A Shape Album - Video 5 Part 1

Let's layer our albums.A FYI, for future reference.....it has been brought to my attention you can use the hide contour feature to hide the cuts and tick marks on the castle and the jack-o-lantern since we could not use the blackout feature (watch the video and you will understand). I thought hide contour was for a cut with multiple images and did not realize it could be used to hide things on the primary image. Sorry for the confusion and hope this information helps you on your next project. No worries for those making an album as we go...they will be Adorable!!!

Let's Make A Shape Album - Video 5 Part 2

All about layering our books.

Design Studio & Wordbook Basics - Part 1

I had to break this video into 2 segments. I apologize for the abrupt ending on part 1 and the abrupt beginning on part 2.....still learning. :)

Design Studio & Wordbook Basics - Part 2

My First Video Tutorial - Meander Book

Ok, here it goes, LOL! I'm working my way up to doing more detailed videos. I've got to move faster so I can get more in. I've got a lot of improving to do. Just takes practice, I guess. Let me know what you think.

Meander Books

These would make great stocking stuffers or fillers
for gift baskets. If you have a daughter like mine,
there are always lots of friends to get gifts for at
Christmas....this would be perfect and very inexpensive.
Just decorate accordingly.

I will have a video tutorial posted soon showing how to make these books.
I am uploading the video now, but it's taking Forever!! :) In the meantime
here are a few photos from my Christmas and fall books.

I've Got A Surprise!!!!

My husband bought a Flip for me today. Now I can try my hand at making video tutorials for you. It's going to take some practice and I'll probably be rough, at best! Regardless, I hope to bring to life the process of making a wordbook or shape album. Stay tuned! :)

It's Time for a Blog Update

According to my husband, anyway! :) He informed me my blog background just looked "BLAH"!!! Gotta Love his honesty! ;) I have decided I agree and am going to make some changes. Just wanted to warn you....if you stop by and things just don't look right or match up like they should.......I'm working on it. Not exactly sure what I'm going to do and may have to try several layouts before I get it like I want....we'll see.

Pumpkin Pickin' Chipboard Album

Perfect for all your fall and pumpkin patch
pictures. I had so much fun designing this
album.....maybe because I Love fall!

Cartridges used.....GBS, CU, DC, SYI, MW,
PDDU, Pooh and Friends. Please note some
of the cuts I added to the pages as embellishments
are not part of the .cut file.
You can click on pictures to enlarge. :)

Lots of dimension to this book.

I Love my little JD tractor.... :)

Sign is from P&F cartridge and is not on the .cut file.
I did make one big mistake on this book.......I did not
get my holes lined up correctly when punching out
for the binding.....Ugh, Ugh! Just don't look at that
part, LOL. ;)

I made the pumpkin wagon in DS with the help
of three different cartridges.

This page has a removeable tag.

I added a couple of extra pages. Note there is
nothing welded to the side so you can leave them
out if you like.

I Love this white cardstock with the red swirls.
It gives me the feeling of a breezy day....perfect for
fall. I also like the aged, shabby look of it.

I really like how the barn turned out.

Pumpkin is a dollar stamp from M's.

I Love this sun from Doodlecharms. I use it
all the time.....it's just so Cute and Fun! Ok,
.cut file gave the scarecrow shoes, but when making
the book I decided to add "straw" for the feet. Adjust
file accordingly. He doesn't line up perfect, but I'm ok
with it.

Lots of room for pictures and journaling.

Background of photo mat is stamped with Versa Mark
using the Autumn Blessings stamp. May not show up
in the picture.
