A Sneak Peek...........

at my latest project. I am working on making each
of my kids a binder full of our family favorite recipes.
When they get a place of their own I will give it to
them as a housewarming gift. This is just a few of
the pages in the main dish / meat section.

This is more of a layout :) for a tuna casserole recipe.
I used the Cricut Lifes A Beach cartridge for the cuts.
This is one of my all time favorite cartridges....Sooo Much Fun!
I added lots of ink and stickles for bling. Paper for all pages below
is a mix of Wausau, DCWV, Paper Trey Ink, Making Memories and
misc brands from my stash.

A close up

Another close up

I like how this turned out....using non traditional
colors for the pig. Pig is from the Cricut Animal Kingdom
cartridge. The second page will have a picture of my son
making ham salad and on my daughters I will just do some journaling.
Border punch is Fiskars Apron Lace.

This is more of an old fashioned page. The
background paper reminds me of kitchen
wall paper.

Pages with journaling tags, ribbon, & buttons.

Some of my favorite pages from the DCWV kitchen stack.
I just love the colors and print. I am trying to include different stories
about some of the recipes. Hopefully preserving lots of memories.

There will be lots more to come. I plan to post
pictures of each section as I get them completed.
Once finished I will post pictures of the completed
album. TFL!

  5. What a great idea! Sounds like your kids like to be in the kitchen, just like mine do. My daughter makes chicken cutlets...egg it, sand (breadcrumbs), egg it!! She is 5 and my son is 7...he makes great hamburgers!! I need to do this for them...hope you don't mind if I "lift" your idea!!!
