Summer Shape Book

I took the idea of a word book, but added shapes
rather than spelling out a word. This is my first
time to make a book and I think I'm addicted. :)
I created this book using the Cricut design studio
software along the the following cartridges......
George and Basic Shapes
Alphalicious
Life's A Beach
Doodle Charms

All embossing was done with the Cuttlebug.
I used the Bind It All to put the book together.

  1. That is adorable. You did an awesome job. I really love it. I am guessing you used the LAB cart which I don't have yet.

  2. Yes, I used LAB, but only for the flip flops. All the other shapes came from DC.

  10. I love your shape book! That's an awesome take on a word book and seems like it would be easier, definately looks like more fun! I've made a few word books but they just don't turn out great, I'm going to have to "borrow" your idea:)

  17. What a fun book for the summer. What did you use for the base pages. Did you use the deep cut blade? I would love to make a book from scratch! You are a super inspiration to all. Suzie

  18. I would love to have the cut file also. I am not good at making the word books. I have tried and tried but they just don't turn out. My email address is rachelle.barta@gmail.com
Thanks. It is way too cute!! We just got back from the beach and that would be a perfect book to place memories in. Thanks for sharing.

  19. Suzie, I used medium weight chipboard for the base. It was thin enough that I could use the regular blade and multi cut twice. Thank you!

Rachelle, I'm going to have to see how to attach the cut.file in an email. It shouldn't be too hard and I've had a lot of request for it this way. I will try to do it this afternoon. Thank you!
