Celebrate Chipboard Album

You wonder, "why do I have a tree in the middle
of my book"? It's supposed to be a celebration
in the park. :) Lots of cartridges used - George,
Don Juan, SYI, DC, MC, Pooh & Friends, Celebrations.
I apologize, my pictures are kind of dark. You can click to enlarge.
Here is the link to the .cut file Celebrate Shape Book.cut

Tree is embossed on the Cuttlebug with the
hearts and branches folders.

By adding photo mats to both sides of your pages
these little albums really can hold a lot of pictures.

New Shape Books Coming

Just wanted to let everyone know I've not abandoned my blog. As some of you already know I managed to mess up my neck and shoulder and had to take a break from crafting. I'm doing better now and have a couple of books in the making. I hope to get one posted in the next couple of days. Then I have one in my head and if I can get it to my Cricut, I think you are really going to like it. :) Have a Great weekend! Lisa

The Night Before Christmas......More Pictures

I was asked to post more pictures so here
are some random ones. I wish I could
get them to post below the original post, but
not sure how. See the original post below for
details and a direct link to the cut file.

I must add...when my DD heard I was doing
a Christmas book she said I needed to add this
cut of the little one sneaking down the stairs.

The Night Before Christmas Shape Book

Finally.......here is the Christmas Book I've been working on.
To me there is nothing like an old fashioned Christmas. Back
when times were much slower paced and life was simple or at least
it seemed that way. When you look at this book I hope it brings back
many happy memories of Christmas past.

Many Cricut cartridges were used and I hope I can remember them all.
I will abbreviate them so ask for the full name of the cartridge if
you need to......CC, JOTS, Christmas Noel, GBS, keystone, PDDU, DC, ACY.....I think
that's all of them. For embellishments I used Stickles, liquid applique, rhinestones, glitter pen, embossing on the Cuttlebug. Click on pictures
to enlarge. Enjoy!

Santa has landed on the roof and is getting to
his work when he hear's footsteps coming down
the stairs.

It looks like Santa's hiding behind the Christmas
tree.

I love the red stripe paper behind the little girl
as it reminds me of wallpaper.

When you're out in the snow looking in, it looks
so cozy.

How sneaky can she be?

Even the little mouse is trying to get a peek at
Santa.

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care.

So did Santa get caught filling the tree with gifts?

Looks like he's checking his list twice. Have you
been naughty or nice?

This is looking at the backside of a page.
I really like the look of using the same paper
from the background and matting it for a
photo mat.

A Very Quick Card - Imaginisce Mushroom Fancy

I had to go out of town unexpectedly and wasn't
able to complete the project I wanted to post. :(
I'll give you a hint though......It has to do with
Christmas and yes, it is a book! :) Be sure to check
back as if it turns out like I hope I think you're going
to like it. It's very nostalgic or at least that's what I'm
striving for. ;) Hope to have it posted by next weekend.

In the meantime here is a very quick card I
made last night after I got home. I was a little
tired and had a heavy hand as my little blue bird
is Very Blue, LOL! Again I used some of my favorite
imaginisce paper. The bird stamp and So Tweet is also
from imaginisce. Music notes are from Cricut Stretch your
Imagination. Scallop is from Mini Monograms. Border punch
is Fiskars Apron Lace. I cut an 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock in
half lengthwise for the base of the card after watching The Pink
Stampers video doing a card like this. Great for something different.

Baby Shape Book with Train Border

You didn't think I was over my shape book
addiction just yet, did you, LOL! Actually I was
asked if I would make one for a baby boy and this is
what I came up with. As always it was super fun to make.
The only Cricut cartridges are George & Basic Shapes and
New Arrival. Embossed on the Cuttlebug. Misc papers,
embellishments, ribbon, ink and buttons. Put together with
the Bind it All. I will post the cut.file on the Cricut MB in the
DS forum shortly. TFL!

Charm on baby bottle say's made with Love

The moons cheek is really not that bright in
person. I added a dab of Glossy Accents and
think it made it look much brighter in the picture.

I Love the bit of extra the train border adds
to this book.
