Finally as promised...here is the tutorial for this super cute fabric bag. I added a set of A2 size cards made with the Preserves cartridge. I think it is an adorable gift and it's so simple to make. Video actually shows the Sweet Treat fabric bag...So many possibilites.
To get within Youtubes time limit I had to do quite a bit of editing so I apologize if the video is choppy in places...especially at the beginning. ; )

You make it look soooo easy! Thanks for the video. Love the cupcake fabric - too cute! You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteYour technique is terrific! I love that the inside of the purse is finished as well as the outside. Thanks for showing us your little errors so that we can avoid them, and have a successful project the first time. Thanks again!

Very nice project and a great use of the TBBM cart. and it's so refreshing to see that everyone has to go thru trial and error - sometimes I watch these videos and when my projects don't go together quite as smoothly I get a little depressed - BUT, now I know that all the experts have to try things too!! TFS!

These are SOO cool!!! I left you an award on my blog at www.cricutaddictsanonymous.blogspot.com!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you would have used a little heavier iron on interfacing if that could have helped with the lighter weight fabric. That might just do it if you need to use a thinner fabric.
ReplyDeleteThis is just adorable!! I have yet to try fabric with my cricut.
ReplyDeleteExcellent tutorial! Love the tips and suggestions. Thanks for being so "real" with the good and bad...it makes your blog stand out for me!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that I found this video! I just got the Cricut expressions and what I most want to do with it is make fabric purses. However, I really didn't have a clue where to start until I found your blog on Google. Thanks SO much for posting the tutorial. I know it will really help me out!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute!!
