Oh my gosh! How sweet! Did you draw on the face or is it a stamp? I love these colors. I don't have a Gypsy, so tell me, this shape is actually a card that opens? Cool! Can't wait to see what else you do. :)
Thank you! The eyes are from the New Arrival Peachy Keen stamp set. The snail is actually on the Paisley cartridge and I welded two of them to make a card that opens.
Oh my goodness me, that is soooooo cute!! Luckily my paisley cartridge arrived yesterday, and I had time to have a little play with it. Nothing fancy like this though. I took the first monkey and the last monkey and I let the upside down one hang with her tail in the tail of the strong manly monkey hahaha (did that make sence?).
When my gypsy is paid of for (lucky me, I could buy it overhere on a 4 month payment, so it did not cost me a lot in one go, and no extra's to be paid), I can start saving for my Expression. I still am using the very first little bug, but making cards like you just did, a bigger bug would be so much better :)
Janie1...I agree it's hard to save when they keep coming out with new things...especially cartridges. : ) The plaid paper is DCWV and it's from last years spring or summer paper stack (can't remember which one, sorry). The solid color cardstock is from The Paper Studio.
Yvette...Good Luck saving for your new E! I started with a baby bug and at first had no desire to get the E. Let's just say all my wonderful friends on the MB changed my mind, LOL!
I really like your style! Love your snail-- the colors and yes! the bow just makes it! I am going to have to look at the Paisley cartridge! Think I can get it for an Anniversary present?!! lol!
Sooooooo adorable! I love all the colors and papers you use, that is the hardest part for me...putting papers together! I can't wait to get paisley, can't find it by me yet!
My little corner of cyberspace started out as a paper crafting blog. My first die cutting machine was a Cricut, thus the name Bug Junkie. Now, I share more salvaged, vintage and handcrafted home decor. I still love to design and create...it's just with wood and repurposed items rather than paper. I love junk and the hunt to find it! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will join me on my junking journey.
