A Snowy Project - Simple Card Video

Here is a very basic card, but it does use the
"snow" technique with Liquid Applique. My
Liquid Applique bottle was almost empty so
it's not quite as good as it should be, but you
will get the idea. If you want to add sparkle to
your snow just sprinkle with glitter before embossing.

  4. I used Liquid Applique this year on some christmas cards, where I used it on branches with birds on. Its such a great effect that I am hoping I can find some more to buy! Its not easy to find great craftstuff in the UK.

On that note; Totally love the frosty man on the card!! I think I am gonna start my x-mas cards for this year very early, with all the cute stuff around :)

  5. ps, just watched your video, and I have bought my liqued applique 6 or 7 years ago, so it has been around for a while :)
Also, what I find a bit of a bummer, the effect is so cool, but if you put it in an envelope and send it so someone, the weight of the machines it goes through flattens the popped-up bits :( so boooo for postal machines!

  10. Sheila, I meant to add glitter, but forgot. I know what you are seeing and it's actually where I missed heat embossing.
